Cinq postes en élection au sein du conseil d'administration

Chers membres,

Le président du conseil d'administration, M. Simon Baillargeon, nous prie de vous informer qu'il y aura prochainement l'élection de cinq nouveaux administrateurs pour le mandat 2023-2026.

En effet, cinq postes Membre Exportateur devront être comblés en juin puisque les administrateurs suivants termineront leur mandat:

Mme Anne Létourneau, Fruit d'Or;
Mme Katell Burot, Carrément Tarte Inc.;
Mme Lory Z. Wang, Arctica Food Group Canada Inc.;
M. Bill Sheehan, E. Gagnon et Fils Inc.;
M. François Malenfant, Station 22.

Prenez note que vous devez être membre de l'Association pour être candidat aux élections.

Le conseil d'administration du Groupe Export est convoqué six fois par année, à raison d'une demi-journée par rencontre. Notez que les administrateurs sortants, s'ils le souhaitent, sont en droit de solliciter un nouveau mandat en se présentant à nouveau aux élections.

L'appel de candidatures s'adresse à tous les membres en règle de l'Association. Néanmoins, afin de constituer un conseil équilibré, des candidats possédant les champs de compétences suivants sont particulièrement recherchés :

Connaissance des marchés et stratégies d'exportation
Connaissance en commercialisation et mise en marché
Finances, comptabilité et gestion budgétaire

Five seats available on the Board of Directors

Dear members,

Mr. Simon Baillargeon, Chairman of Group Export Agri-Food's Board of Directors, wishes to inform you that there will soon be an election of five directors for the 2023-2026 term.

Five Export Member seats are available for directorship as the following directors will end their term:

Ms. Anne Létourneau, Fruit d'Or;
Ms. Katell Burot, Carrément Tarte Inc.;
Ms. Lory Z. Wang, Arctica Food Group Canada Inc.;
Mr. Bill Sheehan, E. Gagnon et Fils Inc.;
Mr. François Malenfant, Station 22.

Note that it is essential to be a member of the Association to stand for election.

Six meetings of the Board are held each year. During your mandate, you may possibly be requested to represent Group Export's members on various committees. As authorized by the Association's rules, directors ending their term may resubmit their application for a position on the Board of Directors, if they are interested to do so.

The call for applications is open to all members. However, in order to constitute a balanced Board, candidates with the following areas of expertise are particularly sought after :

Knowledge of markets and export strategies
Knowledge of marketing and merchandising
Finance, accounting and budget management

If you wish to submit your application for a seat on the Board of Directors, you must inform Samira Silbermann by April 6th, 2023 by email or by phone at 450-649-6266, ext. 203.
